Wow! We’re helping each other!
We’d like to thank the folks who have left comments on the blogs. We appreciate all of the kind words.
And sometimes there is some great info.
From Rich Marchewka:
“I think the advice is great. As a professional photographer I even learned some things I never thought about.
I would like to add to be careful not to overfill a card. It can cause problems.
Also, on most cameras it is important to re-format the card, in camera, after you have taken it out and put it back in. It is important to remember that your images needed to be downloaded and backed up before formatting.
One last thought is not to get to large of a card that you put all your eggs in one basket. It is better to have 2-2gb cards then 1-4gb card.”
Regarding the review from July 30th, he added “I know if you are using the (Epson) 2400 you also need to make sure you are choosing the proper paper profile. The 2400 now gives many profiles for paper and are really good. Some make 3rd party software that is expensive. I am pleased with the 2400 profiles.
Hope some of this helps.”
Some great advice from one of our readers. Thanks Rich.
Also in our color calibration review, it was Gary R. who turned us on to the labs with pre-set printer ,downloadable profiles. Appreciate the tip,Gary.
Do you have some real life experiences/tips you would like to share?
Either leave a comment or send us an email. Thats how we roll.
Cheers!
