Seems to be the year of Annie Leibowitz in not just the photographic world, but in every part of our world.

The cover of Newsweek, major retrospective exhibit, behind the scenes press on Suri Cruise photographs, this week on Today show.

Oh yeah , there is lots going on this year.

But hasn’t it been going on for years?

Seems to me that she has been shooting for Rolling Stone since I can remember. And that was just the beginning.

Here are some ways to learn about and explore the work of this American Master:

An Exhibit:
Annie Leibovitz: A Photographer’s Life, 1990–2005, an exhibition of more than 200 photographs, debuts at the Brooklyn Museum, where it will be on view from October 20, 2006 through January 21, 2007, prior to an international tour.
