.

Do you remember these? Used to be 4 for a quarter now 4 for $3.?

As a child, I started to go into these photobooths with friends and family .

Now I don’t know if it was a requirement, but out of the 4 shots you got, there had to be a totally goofy one.

But these were also made to share. Everyone could pile in and shove their faces towards what they thought was the lens.
Wait the 5 mins. which seemed like forever, then the plunk of the slightly damp strip of images would fall into the metal holding pen.

Blowing furiously on the pictures so when grabbed and laughed at, wouldn’t get destroyed. Or when you put them away in your pocket.

Many of us have done this. And continue to do it.

This book is, for me, one of the best memories of those moments.

Not celebrities. Real people. You and me. And our friends.

When this book first appeared it became a favorite of mine to give as a gift. I would add a scan of an original photobooth shot of the person receiving the book.

You may want to try that yourself.

So…..you know how this works.
