There isn’t.
So you can also help your community food bank this season, if you are the Grand Prize winner.
Win-Win situation.
We’ll be bringing you profiles of some of the sponsors and judges along the way, so you know who’ll be looking at your work.
By the way, there is special pricing for students. We’ve been there, and we know. Funds get limited.
Only $10. for students to enter up to 4 photos.

Plus we will be publishing a book of the winning entries, including honorable mentions, and will be donation 20% of the proceeds to food banks as well.
So here is a chance for you to get published as well.

You will get documentation of your donation on your paid entry rec.
Today we’d like to give a little intro to one of the judges, Lou Manna.
He is an Olympus Visionary, and was a staff photog for NY Times restaurant reviews for 15 years, and he is one of the best teachers out there for food photography.
If you would like some advice on shooting your lunch, this man can deliver.
He can help you make it simple and beautiful.

Or pick up his book:Digital Food Photography, with a few more volumes coming.

But please don’t stress about perfection. There is a certain vibe to all lunches that may be in the situation they happened in.
This is a photo contest for everyone.
AND you can now enter via iPhone or any other camera phone.
Check the site for details.

We’ll be talking about some of the other judges in the days to come, like Chow.com, one of our favorite places to go to find out what we should be eating. And where.
Yep, we subscribe to the newsletter via chowhound also, and get hungry every time we read it.
The editorial staff of Chow.com will be looking at your photos also, and who know maybe a star will be born!

So Let’s do Lunch! Take a photo, win prizes, and help feed some people
