I was the lucky guy who won the book, “In the American West”, by Richard Avedon! I was thrilled and have viewed the book many times. The photos are engrossing, they bind and hold you to the lifes of these people who you know very little of….with each photo I was tranced and reeled into their lifes, I started to imagine what that person was like, and what kind of life he or she lead. I have enjoyed the book so much and recommend it to all of you out there…what a wonderful journey you will go on, into the lifes of each of these people, truly spellbinding. With Richard’s Photo’s he brings out so much, if I wasn’t holding the book in my hands I’d swear I was standing there looking face to face with each of these subjects.
