Have not been able to test this unit in real world situation. The depth says it should fit but may be tight.
The ThinkTank unit has been used by me for over 2 years and works internationally, with absolutely no issues. It has held up running to terminals, jumping into cabs, and every overhead bin has been no problem.
Wish I could give you more , but the bag was returned after the review period.

It’s been a while since you posted this–any more experience with it on international flights? I’m really considering this bag over the thinktank, but it HAS to be able to be carried on for international flights.

Great in depth review. Ive been looking for roller bag for a while now and I think I just found it.
