2 of the most important words in digital photography today:
BACK-UP!
We cannot emphasize the importance of backing up, or saving, your digital files enough.
You can back up to a CD, DVD, or external hard drive. Most professionals do what is called “mirror backup”, essentially saving the same material to 2 separate hard drives.
Whether you are a pro, enthusiast, or casual shooter, save those precious images!
Why is this the main thought today?
While loading all of the software and setting up our digital darkroom for field tests,
our main computer CRASHED! Bummer, but…………
all of the images had been backed up on an external drive. Plus DVD.
So……….inconvenient? yes! Disaster? Averted.
My suggestion to all of our readers is to find your favorite solution and save your precious images at your earliest convenience.
If you have questions, contact us and we’ll be there to help.

This weekend , we’ll be offering some cool free stuff, BUT only to those on our email update list. Easy to do, Sign up today, and tell a friend. Special email goes out Sat. morning 4/15.

Keep those photo submissions coming! Help your gallery grow.

Cheers!
