Weekly Giveaway – Memory Almost Full

[photopress:CF_Pro_4GB_133x_2fx.jpg,full,centered]

Isn’t that the title of the new Paul McCartney CD?

Can you guess what the giveaway is this week?

With the huge megapixel files of every camera today, your memory will get full pretty darn fast.
The advantage now is that the cost of the new, larger capacity cards has come WAY down.

An 8 gb, super fast 300x speed card is now only about $200 USD, as compared to 2 years ago when a 1gb 80x speed was $140 USD. Here is a bit more on the subject.

Much better.

So to help you in your quest for more memory, our giveaway this week is a LEXAR 4gb CF card.

This should help.

To be eligible for this freebie, sign up for the weekly NEWSLETTER, and on Weds. morn. a mysterious email will appear in your in box. Details on how to get this sent to you, gratis,no charge will be encrypted in the missive.

OK, it won’t be very mysterious and will be pretty easy to do.

Cheers!
Damon Webster

The Think Tank Glass Taxi backpack is a great design, with lots of options for the placement of your gear, it’s comfortable and has the added bonus of a business card slot at the top. It has one major flaw however…there are no zippered pockets to keep important things like camera cards, batteries, lens tissues, and FILM! I currently have a ziplock baggie holding all of the above and have shoved it into one of the gear slots next to my lenses. There are several “pockets” (2 on the outside and one inside) but they are like the pockets of my jeans and stuff can just fall out. Not okay for expensive camera cards and precious images they hold…

That’s my take on it. I think it will come in handy, especially for hiking and backcountry ski touring, but for most other jobs…I’m sticking to my LowePro… :)

I thought it looked great on the video and would be very handy
for an active photographer who was outdoors a lot
