Noise makers, bubbles, confetti on the floor. Time for “Photo-A-Day” 2011 to start!

…..and maybe share your efforts from 2010!
Sure, for a lot of us, the camera is another appendage and a photo a day is just a matter of course.
But will you define a time to make the image, like every morning before going to work? or maybe picking a subject matter this year?
For over 20 years, I’ve been shooting lunch: the food, the people, the situation.
Since the lunchtime meal is a daily occurrence, and a camera has always been by my side, this has made it an easy place to go.

It kinda helps keep a visual diary and gives some more meaning to the meal for me. And if it’s time to switch to more salads.
It is time.
Now, if we are friends on FaceBook you’ve been seeing some of these. Originally, these images were made public to promote the “Let’s Do Lunch” photo Contest (which will happen again).

The point is that if you give yourself a daily assignment, a repeatable scenario may the way to go.
You can track progress, or change, or patterns.

So we’re off to make that last series of 2011 photos today, and get back with you tomorrow to announce the GoPro Helmet HD winner. Coming up are more software, gear and surprises for 2011. New ways for us to hang out and talk photo.
