A little gossip, a little chat, a little idle talk of this and that: The IPA – Lucie Awards Honoree Luncheon

Actually, it was a lot more than idle chat here on day 2 of the week of photography in NYC, and we were back at Splashlight studios. Today the press was able to interview some of the honorees of this years Lucies Awards. And there is video of all of the interviews we did that will post shortly on YouTube and the VIDEO page, right here on the site.

One thing I will tell you about Mr. Erwitt, this years lifetime achievement honoree; his persona is identical to his photographs. Not quite sure how to explain it but perhaps you should take a look at his work, before the video is posted.

Hmmmm…maybe we should giveaway his book Personal Exposures. You know, that’s exactly what we’ll do.

And you should take a look at all of their work. You’re gonna love hearing from these masters in their own words and when you are familiar with the photographs that made them famous, well, it will be a richer experience.

We covered many subjects including the people that influenced them, insight into their modus operandi, and some words of advice for the young photographers.
