And I see Joey, and Bobby, and David, and Frankie, and all the kids in Adland

[photopress:DSC00594.JPG,full,centered] As the week of the Cannes lions fest draws to a close and the beaches prepare to return to some sense of normalcy, the time of celebrating the work in the advertising business gets ready to leave the south of France.
The awards, the parties, the dinners, the parties, the dancing , the parties, the concerts, the…well, you know where this is going.
There is real business going on here though. You just have to know where to look . And step away from the Rose
So we have been getting some news for you from one of the biggest stock photo agencies that should peak your interest.

Corbis has announced a pretty unique and a ” why didn’t anyone think of this before” type idea of an online museum of all of their collection.
You see, this company has the archives of historical and important works of photography that you can now see in a virtual museum. Online and free. Starting…..NOW!
We’ll give you more info in a few days.
Plus they have launched Snap Village which will affect your stock business in a whole new way.
And we had an insightful chat with one of week creative directors who spoke to the way they work with shooters.
All that coming in some new vids for you next week.complete a wrap up perspective on the big winners and what trends they point to.
One thing that was not discussed much was the elephant in the room.
The wonderful economy we are enjoying now.
But when you are asked to pay $38 USD for a drink at a hotel, you have to ask yourself…What the heck are they thinking?????

However, for right now, i’s hot and I’m thirsty so, we’ll see what the croissette has to offer.

Cheers!
