Apple TV and You

Before we talk about our latest giveaway ,we’d like to take a moment and remind about PHOTOLA, the best photography event in Los Angeles. No Kidding.
And you can hear from Stephen Cohen, the founder, on our MEDIA page.
Graham Nash hosts the opening night charity event on Thursday the 19th.
A 3 day event with photography dealers from around the world, lectures from the masters, collecting seminars, and lots of images you may only have a chance to see in this venue. We’ll be doing coverage, but if you are in LA do not miss this.
Santa Monica Civic Auditorium, Jan. 19-22.

But I digress:

In the never ending quest to find the best giveaways for you, we realized it was right in front of us
[photopress:cp_top_appletv_070109.jpg,full,centered] .
OK it isn’t quite in front of us for a few weeks BUT…….

At photoinduced.com we want to make sure your experience is enhanced in all ways that you use media. And we know that video in the form of lessons, bios, docs, and dramas are what you’ve asked for. We now offer 25 vid clips on the MEDIA page. At this point it’s a higher quality than the YOUTUBE clips we love, and actually serve a different purpose.

We CAN all get along.

So…..once it is available we will be offering the new APPLE TV to one of our readers. Free.

Why are we giving away a video item on a photography site?

We feel that in the not to distant future we will be able to search for the content we want on the web, download it to a DVR or server, then send it wherever we want to screen it: TV,portable device, and enjoy your content when you want, where you want.

Wait a second..you can do that now.

And quite honestly, we want to provide the photography content you want. Or point you in the right direction.

Our advisory committee is still working out the details since this is a pretty special (read-BIG) giveaway for us.

You must be signed up for the NEWSLETTER (to the top right on the home page) to be eligible.

More news coming. Another special giveaway will be available in June, but details will be forthcoming. Any guesses?

Cheers!
Damon Webster
