We Moo’d, Sony’d, ThinkTanked, Fuji’d around a little, Got Hugged by a Gorilla(pod), had a little Delkin, and learned something brand new

You can’t ask for more from photo trade show, really.
Not only did we get to see some cool new gear, we were made privy to a new product from HP that will protect artists, dealers an collectors. Too cool for school.

The day began with Sony announcing a brand new small format camera with interchangeable lenses, coming soon.

The we shot a new video over at Olympus with the Pen series:

yep, we see a pattern emerging also.

Joby Gorillapod had some cool new bendable tripos to add to the family, including this little NANO holder, with incredibly strong magnetic lens. Video coming on some other new things from them.

Lenbaby came with a new feature on the Control Freak: now you can add the insert lens like on the Composer.
And Feb. 22nd, they’ll be celebrating 6 years in business and guess who gets the gift?
That’s right, you! Check our twitter feed for the details.

The good folks at Moo cards showed us a round their world and we’ll be giving you a tour coming up in the vid format. You’ll want a set of these business cards to show off your work, no doubt.

Drop your lenses into the new ThinkTank bucket. Perfect for a walk around gig, event shooting, etc.

And lovely Elma from Omega Sattler, gave us a closer look at the Zacuto focusing loupe. More from them before the visit is over.

And that thing we learned about, that we never heard of before? The protection for artists, gallery owners, and collectors?

It looks like this:

But we are going to be privy to much more info on the product, meaning YOU’LL be much more privy to the info.
That’s is just how we do it.

And there will be a ton of videos, from all of the meetings, some fresh stuff from Fuji, big lenses, small monitors, ways to hang you speedlights, and dunk your CF cards, instant grat, and old school beauty.

C’mon, we can’t do it all in a day, right?

These are just a few of the things we saw that made an impression.
Today.
But cover us, we’re going back in tomorrow.

And you know, it’s not all glass, metal and plastic, no sir.

There is the natural beauty of wood.

Well, it’s time to shut own the computer for now, get the batts charged and the cards formatted for tomorrow.
