Hopefully he is not unknown to you. Born Arthur Fellig, Weegee was the ultimate tabloid news photographer. His work has recently been enjoying a reexamination and discovery of his true creative genius and contributions. And in this volume you also get the perspective of Paul Strand and Ralph Steiner on his work. I know, not who you would expect, but there you have it.
