And Now, Your Moment Of Zen….

Happy New Year!
I think we can all agree that 2023 was challenging on so many levels.
But we all made it through!
On to 2024, and a new device to maybe help you keep your calm, and focus.
It’s something I keep in my nightstand and take it when I travel.
Whether you have stressful shoots, attend business affairs with a lot riding on it, or just look at this year ahead and know there will be a bit of tumult, this little unit will help calm the waters.
Nothing artificial, nothing you put inside your body.
It’s the Morphee Zen Pebble:

72 audio sessions designed by relaxation experts.
You can listen to the sessions at any time of the day.
The sessions are divided into 6 themes: Deep Relaxation, Immersive Journeys, Dynamic Relaxation, Sounds of Nature, Relaxing Music, Chrono Zen.
Sessions last 2 or 5 minutes. Click the link to check out some samples
The voice used for the sessions is male or female.

I know, I know…is it a bit too new age for you?

That’s what I thought. Then I put it to the test after a particularly stressful day. Just kept running everything through my brain again and again.

Please note, I’m not really a drinker, so that option is not one I considered.

I plugged in my headphones, picked a voice, and went to my session of choice. Nature sounds for me.

Holy moly, this thing worked!

As it has no screen, that was another plus, as the phone addiction didn’t come into play.

Playtime is about 2 hours, with a 1 1/2 hr charging time. you could probably use a phone charger to play it.

And it’s super small. Fits in the palm of your hand. A non descript grey, following in that pebble motif.

All I can say is, before we deep dive into more reviews of gear, exhibits and photobooks, this little tool is a good thing to consider.

Comes with headphones and a charging cable, and cost about $80.

Namaste y’all!
